God is Jehovah Rahpa-

the Lord our Healer!

The prayers and confessions that are compiled here are taken from various sources.  If a writer is known their names will be listed, however some I do not know.  My intent is to get these out to be a blessing and learning tool in your walk with Jesus.  Pray them then as it says in Heb. 4:14b “let us hold fast our confession.”

Healing Confessions

“Some people wonder why they can't have faith for healing.  They feed their body three hot meals a day and their spirit one cold snack a week.”
F.F. Bosworth

Our God is a good God who is faithful to perform His Word concerning you. Our covenant with Him is an everlasting and perfect one that contains all that is needed for our abundant life, health, prosperity and wholeness (nothing broken and nothing missing). These scriptures about healing are for you to confess aloud each day and to meditate on.

Let these scriptures get rooted deep into your heart for out of the abundance of your heart, your mouth speaks so keep the Word of God in your heart and it will be coming out of your mouth to bring you into victory. Give God praise and worship Him with these scriptures. His Word is health to your flesh!

Healing Scriptures

Exodus 15:26
". . . If you will diligently hear the voice of the Lord your God, and will do what is right in His sight, and will give ear to His command-ments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases on you, which I have brought on the Egyptians: for I am the Lord who heals you."

Isaiah 53:4-5
"Surely he has borne our grief's, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Matthew 8:16-17
"When the evening was come, they brought to him many who were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses."

1 Peter 2:24
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed."

Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You asking You to heal me. It is written that the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if I have committed sins, I will be forgiven. I let go of all unforgiveness, resentment, anger and bad feelings toward anyone.

My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and I desire to be in good health. I seek truth that will make me free – both spiritual and natural (good eating habits, medications if necessary, and appropriate rest and exercise). You bought me at a price, and I desire to glorify you in my spirit and my body – they both belong to you.

Thank you, Father, for sending Your Word to heal me and deliver me from all my destructions. Jesus, You are the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. You bore my griefs (pains) and carried my sorrows (sickness). You were pierced through for my transgressions, crushed for my iniquities, the chastening for my well-being fell upon You, and by your scourging I am healed.

Father, I give attention to Your words, and incline my ear to your sayings. I will not let them depart from my sight, but keep them in the midst of my heart. For they are my life and health to my whole body.

Since the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to my mortal body through His Spirit who dwells in me.

Thank You that I will prosper and be in health even as my soul prospers. Amen.

For Health & Healing

“Father, in the name of Jesus, we confess Your Word concerning ____’s healing.  As we do this, I believe and say that Your Word will not return to You void in _____ behalf, but will accomplish what Your Word says it will.  Therefore, we believe in the name of Jesus that _____ is healed, totally and completely, from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet, according to 1 Peter 2:24.  It is written in Your Word that Jesus Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.  Therefore, with great boldness and confidence we say on the authority of the written Word that _____ is redeemed from the curse of sickness, and we refuse to tolerate it’s symptoms.”

“Satan, we speak to you in the name of Jesus and say that your principalities, powers, your spirits who rule the present darkness, and your spiritual wickedness in heavenly places are bound from operating against _____ in any way. _____ is the property of Almighty God, and we give you NO place in _____.  He (She) dwells in the secret place of the Most High God.  _____ abide,  remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, whose power no foe can withstand.”

Now, Father, because we reverence and worship You, we have the assurance of Your Word that the angel of the Lord encamps around _____ and delivers him/her from every evil work. No evil shall befall _____, no plague or calamity shall come near his/her dwelling.  I confess the Word of God abides in _____ and delivers to him/her perfect soundness of mind and wholeness in body and spirit from the deepest parts of his/her nature in his/her immortal spirit even to the joints and marrow of his/her bones.  The Word is medication and life to _____ flesh for the law of the Spirit of Life operates in _____ and makes _____ free from the law of sin and death.  In Jesus name, Amen!”

_____ has on the whole armor of God, and the shield of faith protects _____ from all the fiery darts of the wicked.  Jesus is the High Priest of his/her confession, and she holds fast to his/her confession of faith in Your Word.  _____ stands immovable and fixed in full assurance that he/she has good health and healing NOW, in the name of Jesus.

(Once this has been prayed, thank the Father that satan is bound, and continue to confess your healing and thank God for it.  As faith is based on the finished work of the cross, faith looks at the present situation and claims victory NOW and Now and Now until it comes…don’t waver and watch what you say, as the Word say we get what we say, so make it good, and from the Word.)

Declarations Concerning Personal Health and Healing

He Himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses. Jesus took my infirmities, and bore my sicknesses. (Matthew 8:17)

By the blows that cut into Him I was healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

Surely He has borne my griefs and sickness, and carried my sorrows and pains. He was wounded for my transgressions, He was bruised for my iniquities, the chastisement for my well-being and peace was upon Him, and by the blows that cut into Him, I am healed! (Isaiah 53:4,5).

He sent His word and healed me, and delivered me from my destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:20,21)

Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. The LORD forgives all my iniquities and heals all my diseases. He redeems my life from destruction. He has mercy on me. He satisfies me with good things. He renews my youth! Bless the LORD! (Psalm 103:1-5).

He is the Lord who heals me! (Exodus 15:26)

Declarations which can be made when we meet the conditions

A believer has laid hands on me and I shall recover! (Mark 16:18)

I have called for the elders of the church, and they have prayed over me, anointing me with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will heal and save me from sickness, and the Lord will raise me up! If I have committed sins, I will be forgiven. (James 5:15)

I confess my trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that I may be healed. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much! (James 5:16)

I diligently heed to the voice of the LORD my God and do what is right in his sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes. God will put none of the diseases on me which he has brought on the people of the world. (Exodus 15:26)

I give attention to God's words. I incline my ear to His sayings. I do not let them depart from my eyes; I keep them in the midst of my heart. For I have found them, and they are life to me,  and health  to all my flesh. (Proverbs 4:20-22)
